WE-Empower Family Alumni Association Leadership Council
As part of our long-term approach to sustainable positive impact, Village Connect is looking for dedicated WE-Empower Family (WEF) graduates that want to deepen their impact in their communities and in Village-Connect. The WEFAA Leadership Council consists of Three committees that will eventually transition WEFAA from founder-led to Alumni-Led.
We want Community infrastructure that outlasts any single program cycle. The WEFAA Leadership Council is what will achieve that with the following Committees: Circles & Connection, Events, and Logistics & Operations. Each Committee will be made up of dedicated Alumni.
Through the shared governance structure of the three committees, WEFAA will embody the Harambee principle — collective self-help — in organizational form.
