WE-Empower Deep Healing​​
As part of our long-term healing approach, Village Connect now offers culturally responsive mental health support for alumni families through our new Clinical Director, Colette Katuala and our partnership with Focused Clinical Solutions. These services are trauma-informed, family-centered, and exclusive to graduates of the WEF and Sankofa Family Intensive 10-week core program.
When paired with Culture-Based Transformative Coaching® (CBTC), the 8 week therapeutic program developed by Colette Katuala and Focused Clinical Solutions aims to unlock breakthroughs for every participant deeper than either medium could on its own.
Colette Katuala, LCSW, brings over two decades of deep public child welfare and mental health expertise to her role as Clinical Director for Village-Connect’s 8-Week Deep Healing track. Colette has dedicated her career to developing empathetic, accountable, and culturally responsive clinical frameworks for navigating complex trauma.

Through this formal partnership, Colette provides the essential clinical backbone, therapeutic oversight, and specialized consultation necessary to guide participants safely through profound layers of personal and generational healing. We welcome Colette and look forward to the positive impacts and breakthroughs this synergistic partnership will have on all who take part in the WE-Empower Deep Healing, 8 week track.
