WE-Empower K-12
Aims to enhance the positive cultural identity of African American students in grades K-12 through empowerment groups and on-site support at school sites. By promoting pride, cultural awareness, and academic performance while addressing behavioral concerns, WE-Empower K-12 empowers students to succeed academically and personally.
WE-Empower K-12 delivers academic coaching and cultural development for students across grade levels. The program strengthens cultural identity, improves academic performance, and supports social-emotional growth — creating a meaningful bridge between home and school.
Teachers and Administrators
Our program adapts Culture-Based Transformative Coaching® (CBTC), into K-12 educational settings, extending the WE-Empower Family ecosystem to school communities. Grounded in the same five African principles as all WEF programming; Ubuntu, Ujamaa, Harambee, Ma'at, and Sankofa.
We are looking for partners to expand our reach and bring Village-Connect to the classrooms. Together we can ensure students aren't just thriving in their academics but in all areas of their lives. If you or your school is looking for student enrichment and extracurricular opportunities we invite you to get in touch.
